Miley Cyrus didn't leave much for the imagination in photos for Candy Magazine, and some fans and critics online have flooded her with backlash.

After photos from her new spread hit the web, showing Cyrus in several compromising positions, including the singer playing with sex toys and licking her armpit, many reacted badly to the photos, sharing their thoughts on news sites and on Twitter.
"It's people like her that keeps the trans community looking little more than objects of fetishism. There are better, non-sexualized ways to encourage people to become more comfortable with these 'genderqueers'," wrote a woman named Cai Copley in comments section of an article by The Advocate, via 2 Paragraphs.

"There is nothing wrong with fetish and sex or being genderqueer, as long as this stuff is called out as what it is: appropriation of trans culture for corporate gain. respect the pioneers," added a second woman by the name of Lara Holy.
