Back in late September news broke that the Fifth Harmony member would be recording a duet with the Canadian musician.

Then earlier this month the two began to tease the song, which is called "I Know What You Did Last Summer," with a short teaser of its sound and some still images from an accompanying music video.

Some Harmonizers have voiced their annoyance that Cabello broke away from her girl group to record a song with Mendes, but her bandmates are proud of her.

The single is officially available for purchase and Normani Kordei Hamilton, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane Hansen and Ally Brooke Hernandez had the nicest things to say to their bandmate and Mendes on Twitter.

Hamilton gushed on Twitter about listening to the track for the first time, praising Cabello and Mendes.

"Congratulations to you both," she beamed.

Jauregui told the pair "I Know What You Did Last Summer" sounds "really great."

Meanwhile, Hansen revealed she really relates to the song's lyrics while praising her bandmate and Mendes on their job well done.

Plus, the girl group's Twitter sent out love to Cabello for her duet with Mendes too.

The song is great, Cabello feels great as does her duet partner and they have all the support and love possible from the rest of 5H.
