Even before the fire at Newman Towers, there has been an array of issues within the Abbott family as well as the Newman family. And, of course, the families remain mostly at odds with each other.
Billy (Burgess Jenkins) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are really against Victor (Eric Braeden) and want him to suffer in the ways he's caused them to.

Billy and Phyllis are even working together now to bring Victor down, but Jack (Peter Bergman) is trying to intervene in order to protect his loved ones.
In the sneak peek video below, for the episode airing today, Nov. 19, Jack demands Phyllis spills what Billy is up to in regard to Victor.
"I'm not letting my wife and my brother walk into Victor's crosshairs," Jack states in the clip, adding, "Now tell me what Billy has planned so I can do damage control."
Will she reveal what is going on? Be sure to watch to find out.
Aside from the frequent feuding between these families, more relationship issues will be a major focus since Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) are still not back on track.
It seems like Lily might actually give up trying to fix their relationship since Cane is still so miserable. He never bounced back from when she cheated on him with Joe (Scott Elrod), and it lingers over them.
"No matter how many times I tell you I'm sorry it is never enough for you. I can't be here," Lily tells him as Joe listens in on them in the video above.
The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
