Jamie Dornan News: Is The ’50 Shades Of Grey’ Franchise Afraid Of Losing Money? [VIDEO]
Despite making over $560 million dollars for the first Fifty Shades of Grey film, are the producers of the hit franchise afraid of losing money? That's the rumor, as it's been reported that Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will have to do double duty for their next two films.
According to Irish Central on Thursday, Dornan and Johnson, who play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the first film, will be filming the next two Fifty Shades installments back-to-back to save both time and money. Fifty Shades Darker is set to hit theaters February 2017 while Fifty Shades Freed will be out February 2018.
Meanwhile, another rumor suggests Dornan might be a little jealous of his co-star's rising popularity. Johnson has been shortlisted for a People's Choice Awards, while the Irish-born actor has been shut out from the show, as he failed to get a nod for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor.

According to the Belfast Telegraph earlier this month, Dornan is having a hard time getting recognized for any of his roles lately, as he's basically being ignored by the industry even though gotten praise for his role as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey and as Paul Spector in the BBC drama, The Fall.
And while there's a slim chance that Dornan will be at the awards ceremony this year, Johnson will probably represent the cast and crew of their film as Fifty Shades of Grey is up for the best dramatic movie of the year.
