Corey and Miranda Simms welcomed daughter Remington earlier this month, and now, weeks later, she remains in the hospital.

While the Teen Mom 2 star's father, Jeff, recently assured fans on Twitter that his new grandbaby was doing well, she has yet to leave the hospital after her premature birth, which has left him in charge of caring for Corey's twins with Leah Messer, Ali and Aleeah, 5.

"I'm having what you're having, Poppaw. With extra pickles! #aligrace," Jeff wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, along with a photo of himself and Ali.

As fans will recall, Corey “was awarded primary custody, effective immediately” of his and Messer's twins on Oct. 13, one year after he intially filed for full custody. According to In Touch Weekly, who revealed the news, Corey's custody win resulted in him having his daughters from Monday through Friday.

“Leah’s really been screwing up since [Corey filed], so Corey took her back to court," the magazine's source explained. "The judge looked at the girls’ school records, which show that they’ve been late for school, and made the change in custody.”

In addition, said the source, Messer was facing a second custody battle over her third child, 2-year-old Adalynn, whose father is her second husband Jeremy Calvert.

“If [Jeremy] can find [a job] nearby, he’ll go for the same custody arrangement that Corey did," the source added.
