Although Messer has remained fairly silent in regard to the issue (aside from an Us Weekly interview in which she claims there had been mistakes made during her hearing), Corey Simms' dad recently shared a tweet with fans. Unfortunately, he was forced to defend himself a short time later.

The tweet above, which Jeff retweeted after claiming a judge ruled in the best interest of his grandchildren, was met with several reactions from fans, including those below.

On October 13, as In Touch Weekly revealed, Corey was named as the primary custodian of Messer's twins due to the fact that she would allegedly show up to her daughters' school either late or not at all.
