Daniel Radcliffe Update: Did The British Actor Turned To Alcohol To Cope With Failure And Shame? [VIDEO]
The British actor reveals that he has turned to alcohol when the record-settting franchise was coming to an end. In an interview with Marc Maron of WTF with Marc Maron Podcast, the Harry Potter star admitted the reason why he turned to drinking and what made him realize that it is not healthy anymore for him.
"There was definitely a time when I was coming out of Potter into the real world, and suddenly I was in a world when I was not in that consistency anymore," Radcliffe reveals. "I was living alone, and I think I was really freaked out... I drank a lot, as has been recorded, but I think that was more to do with going out in public and having a battle within me of thinking, 'No I can have a totally normal life."

"It is not a real pressure, but it is a pressure of living with the thought, 'Oh, what if all these people are saying I am not going to have a career?," he told The Guardian. "What if they are all going to be right and will be laughing and I will be consigned to a bunch of 'Where are they now?' lists?"

It brings up a lot of pain.”
Radcliffe, who stars in the upcoming movies Victor Frankenstein and Now You See Me 2, "must ask himself some difficult questions, such as, What's next? Is my career really over at this point? Who am I? Will people only want me if I'm doing this role?", says Ludwig.
