According to E! News, after Clarkson welcomed daughter River Rose Blackstock 17 months ago with her husband, Brandon Blackstock, 39. Currently, the couple is now expecting a baby boy. She announced her pregnancy in a concert in August, prior to cancelling the remainder of her tour. The singer broke down while singing "Piece by Piece," a song about her relationship (or lack thereof) with her dad, causing her to spill the beans.
"I couldn't get through it and I was crying so hard," she told Gayle King on Wednesday. "I thought, 'These people are going to think I'm on drugs. I'm about to lose it like a pregnant person. I gotta explain.' And then it just came out."

Up to this day, Clarkson shares that her song "Piece by Piece" still makes her emotional. "It was a hard thing for me," she said of recording her album's title track. "It was a very vulnerable song in a sense of like, 'Yes, I had help and somebody helped put me back together.' I think a lot of people view that as weakness, but I think it's a strength to trust someone."
The "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" singer confessed that all of her songs are more of self- empowerment and said, "I make my records because they're therapeutic for me."
