Although their child wasn't due until January, the Teen Mom 2 couple, who admitted to going through a shocking cheating scandal with Leah Messer during the recent season six reunion, welcomed their daugther, the third for Simms and the first for Miranda, earlier this month. Since then, they have faced a number of rumors, one of which Simms recently addressed.
“The whole name ‘stealing’ bulls*** is pretty funny, if you ask me,” Simms told Radar Online on Friday. “I guess everyone with the name ‘Amy’ or ‘Nick’ was stolen, too. It’s sad that in such a stressful time of mine and Miranda’s life, we have to deal with such unnecessary drama."

A few days after Remington's birth, a source told Radar Online her name had been stolen from Simms' former girlfriend, Amber Scaggs-O'Brien, who shares a daughter of the same name with her husband.
“Though they never spoke, Corey was Facebook friends with Amber, and would have seen all the photos of Remi and posts with her name,” an insider told Radar. “Amber was shocked! She knew it was too strange to be a coincidence.”
Even more shocked, the source claimed at the time, was Simms' wife Miranda.
“Now Miranda is asking questions,” the source said. “And she’s not happy!”
