It looks like Tori Spelling's plan to keep her husband's ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, in her inner circle of friends might have backfired on her. In fact, it looks like their relationship has just gone from bad to worse, as the actress is now suing Dean McDermott for slacking on his child support payments.

According to Radar Online on Monday, Eustace is suing her ex because he hasn't been coughing up the cash to help support the ex-couple's teenager son, Jack. Even though the young man seems to be close to both Spelling and McDermott, Eustace claims that the Canadian actor isn't the caring and doting father he claims to be. Eustace says he owes her about $45,000 in back payments.

She told the site, "Obviously you don't want to do that, but if you have no other choice, you do. So I did."

Eustace added, "So many women have this issue, getting child support or alimony. Tons of women. It's really scary, because the system is really hard. For you to go after it, you have to spend money. Your documents become public knowledge. I became an advocate."

What's more, the single mother says that she has a hard time believing that Spelling and McDermott are going through a financial rough patch, given their luxurious lifestyle and lavish spending sprees along with the multiple family vacations they take every year.

"It's been documented that they've had financial problems. It's hard to separate the reality from the truth, but at the end of the day, it's a legal obligation and I wanted to make sure that obligation was fulfilled," she explained.

So far, neither Spelling nor McDermott have made any comments regarding the allegations.
