There's a new report that says George Clooney's wife is refusing to wear her $600,000 engagement ring because she doesn't want to be an obnoxious celebrity whenever she is in the courtroom.

The British beauty, who married George back in September of last year, is said to be shopping for a more low-key ring that won't bring her as much attention as her current bling is doing while she is on the job.
A source told the Mirror, "Amal has told friends she wants a more understated engagement ring specifically for when she's working on serious cases. People constantly stop her and admire it for a closer look. It is a massive rock and there is no hiding it."

And while there is no doubt that she loves her husband George and appreciates the gift, Amal is afraid that her Hollywood connection is taking a toll on her career. Some sources have even said in the past that Amal is only landing her high-profile cases because she is married to one of the most popular actors in the world.
The insider added, "She absolutely loves the ring and won't be getting rid of it but she just wants something simpler for her big cases."
What's more, the London-based lawyer is currently shopping for a replacement ring at a Cartier store in the British capital. The couple is looking to relocate to nearby Berkshire once the renovations on their multi-million dollar estate is complete.
