There's a good chance that next year's Super Bowl halftime show might be the biggest one yet. Rumors are swirling that the NFL wants chart topper Adele to perform during their show, which is sure to ignite a fan frenzy for what will no doubt be the Super Bowl's most watched game ever.

According to Naughty Gossip on Tuesday, reports indicate that Adele has been approached to be one of a few acts to perform that night but so far, she hasn't given them her answer just yet. In its first few days since its release, Adele's album, 25, has sold a record-shattering 2.4 million copies in the United States alone.

The album just surpassed the record for highest album sales in a single week, formerly held by former boy band *NSYNC's and their album No Strings Attached, which debuted with 2,416,000 copies sold back in March of 2000.

Meanwhile, the "Hello" singer, who recently smashed Taylor Swift's Vevo record with 27.7 million views of her new hit single, went on the record to share nothing but praise for the "Bad Blood" songstress.

According to Gossip Cop on Saturday, Adele said, "I love Taylor Swift, and when I found out I was like that's pretty epic. Not beating her, but just being on the same level as her was fantastic, because I think she's wonderful."
