Jenelle Evans has been talking about regaining custody of her son for years, but so far, she has failed to do so.

Although the Teen Mom 2 star has taken on a number of relationships since losing custody of Jace, and has also welcomed a second son, she claims her custody battle for her oldest son is currently on hold.
"That's still going on right now and, I mean, I wanted to move away first... get settled down and stuff before I pursue that any further," Evans revealed to Radar Online on Wednesday. "So, I mean, that's kind of on hold right now too, because he's also in school there and stuff, and you know, I get him every weekend now still."
"I just want, you know... I'm trying to let my mom kind of ease into it instead of just grabbing him right from under her," Evans explained. "You know, to try and wean him off of her."
After Evans lost custody of Jace shortly after his birth, her mother, Barbara Evans, took custody of the child, and has been raising him ever since.
“We argue,” Evans said of her relationship with Barbara. “She always wants to argue with me on camera, and I’m like ‘No.’ I just don’t want to film with her... My mom — she’s happy one minute and then the next she is mad, and then the next day, she’ll act like nothing happened.”
