Oh no! The portrayer of law-abiding and law-enforcing Tony DiNozzo on NCIS appears to have broken the law earlier this month out in California!

What Can 'NCIS' Fans Expect To Happen With Bishop's Marriage?

TMZ reported Thursday that Michael Weatherly was pulled over one day this month in the 1 a.m. time frame for speeding in Hollywood by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Law enforcement sources told the entertainment site that the actor seemed to be under the influence so the officers that pulled him over ran tests, which showed his blood alcohol content was elevated beyond the legal limit.

Could Bishop Go Undercover With Brody In 'NCIS' & 'NCIS: New Orleans' Crossover?

With that being said, Weatherly should not have been operating a vehicle. He apparently spent close to 15 hours in jail because of this incident.

He has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence. If he winds up being found guilty of these charges he can serve jail time of up to six months as well as $1,000 in fines. According to Weatherly's past though this is his first offense so there is a high change he will be able to avoid time behind bars.

If Weatherly does end up incarcerated it will surely interfere with the filming of NCIS unless the writers make it seem like his character is away on a mission or something.

The actor has not expressed any comments about this incident on his social platforms or to TMZ who did reach out to him for comment.

NCIS airs on Tuesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
