Simon Cowell and Fiancée: On ‘Break’
It’s not looking good for X Factor judge Simon Cowell and fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy, who have recently taken a break from their engagement. In an interview Sunday with British paper the Daily Mirror, Cowell said the couple hadn’t seen each other since a short visit on Christmas.
"It's quite a complicated relationship. We have had a break from each other, and we are still incredibly close.”
The 52-year-old had gushed about Hussainy being ‘The One’ to CNNs Pierce Morgan earlier, which he now regrets being so open about.
"I'm vulnerable. It's not on, it's not off, it's somewhere in the middle. I don't know if I will ever get married, but I am happy."
The couple met in 2003 on the American Idol set where Mezhgan worked as a makeup artist and Simon was judging, and got engaged in February 2010.
