Earlier this week, a source spoke to PEOPLE Magazine, revealing that while Teresa would certainly love to spend the holidays with her children and husband, she wasn't expecting a Thanksgiving day visit at the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Conn., and instead hoped her family could celebrate in a more normal setting.

"Teresa wants Thanksgiving to be as normal as possible for the girls," the source explained, adding that the family would likely chat in a timed phone call to prison. "She just wants the girls to have a good day."

Following Teresa's upcoming release from prison, her husband, Joe, will begin serving a 41-month prison term. The reality couple received their sentences for crimes of bank and wire fraud during an Oct. 2014 hearing after a 41-count indictment was brought against them months prior.

Teresa Giudice will be released from prison on Dec. 23.
