Taylor Swift, Harry Styles Break Up: She Was Not Sexual Enough, Source Says
Since Taylor Swift and Harry Styles broke up earlier in January, rumors circulated about the nature of their relationship and what reportedly caused the two singers to ultimately part ways.
Sources close to both parties took to attacking the other side recently and especially the way the singers showed each other affection, according to Hollywood Life. A source close to the One Direction singer told Star magazine that the 18-year-old "was telling friends Taylor was asexual and wouldn't let him do anything. She acted really sexy at first, but once she hooked up with him, she only wanted to kiss."
A friend of Swift's told the magazine that Styles "kissed like a snail. Eventually Taylor found it hard not to be grossed out." The friend added that the 23-year-old had "trust issues" and "couldn't cope with all the attention Harry gets from fans, and the fact he is a massive flirt with girls."
Both Swift and Styles have yet to discuss their breakup to media outlets or address any of the rumors about the chemistry in their relationship, but eyewitnesses did see them affectionate during the time they were together.
On New Year's Eve, they were videotapped kissing in New York City's Times Square as the ball dropped to ring in 2013.
Both artists release songs with very sentimental lyrics. In Swift's "Safe and Sound," she promised to her lover "you'll be alright/no one can hurt you now" and in One Direction's latest hit, "Little Things," Styles' refrain includes all the attributes about his "perfect" woman.
"You've never loved/ The sound of your voice on tape/You never want/To know how much you weigh/You still have to squeeze into your jeans/But you're perfect to me...and I'm in love with you/And all these little things."
Styles and Swift reportedly broke up on Jan. 4 after a heated dispute they had while on a Virgin Islands vacation.
