LeAnn Rimes is apparently a different person these days. Gone are the Twitter fights and the back-and-forth gossip fodder between her and her husband's ex-wife Brandi Glanville, as the country singer insists that she's changed over the years, which is something that is also reflected in her music.

According to Xpose on Sunday, the former chart topper says that her new Christmas album, "This Is Christmas," embraces her "soulful side" and that it is much "earthier" than her former studio offerings.

She said, "I've grown up. I think I'm just at a different point in my life with a different sound. It's kind of a soulful, earthier kind of sound but it's also we throw it back with a bunch of horns. It's a really cool record. The last year I came out with an EP of Christmas songs and this year we decided to record a full record."

Rimes also revealed that she is absolutely excited about the upcoming holiday season, which she will be celebrating with her husband Eddie Cibrian and his two children, Mason and Jake.

Rimes added, "I love Christmas. It's been Christmas for me all year long, which is totally fine!"

"This Is Christmas" is available in stores now. Rimes' new tour to promote the album kicks off in Tacoma, Washington on December 4th.
