Amal Clooney News: Is The Human Rights Lawyer Setting A New Trend In Her Field? [VIDEO]
Amal Clooney might not say much when it comes to the media, but people sure pay attention. A new report says George Clooney's wife might be setting a new trend in the law field after reports indicated that she wanted to downgrade her massive engagement ring because it was too flashy for the courtroom.

According to Above The Law on Wednesday, many lawyers are following in Amal's footsteps as they too have decided to keep their pricey jewelry at home so as not to distract from the work they are doing with their clients.
A source close to the 37-year-old Human Rights lawyer said, "Amal has told friends she wants a more understated engagement ring specifically for when she's working on serious cases. People constantly stop her and admire it for a closer look. It is a massive rock and there is no hiding it."
And while this new modest trend might be working in Amal's native Britain, the site says it might not make it's way to the United States just yet.
Writer Kathryn Rubino wrote, "Smart move all the way around, but I don't see this taking off in America--at least not in Biglaw. That's an environment that rewards the markers of a good life--bespoke suits, Italian shoes, leather attaché cases--so don't expect shiny diamonds to make an exit.
So far, Amal herself has not made any comments about the report.
