'Captain America Civil War' Most 'Powerful' Scene Revealed, Director Pushes Steve To His Limits [VIDEO]
Captain America: Civil War will push the Star Spangled Avenger to his limits - both physically and emotionally. Steve Rogers may be a super soldier, but if he's learned anything over the last 75 years, it's that he can't save everyone.
That First Avenger revelation doesn't keep him from trying, however, and inaugural Civil War trailer unveiled one of the film's most "powerful" moments (scroll to 1:55)
"He's hanging onto that helicopter for an extremely passionate reason," co-director Joe Russo told Empire. "In stories you'll read where a mother will lift a car off a child. There's something very important happening in that scene and for us it really represented his struggle as a character, one man pitted against a helicopter that's trying to take off. Can he stop it? And what are the limits of his strength? For us, it's one of the most powerful shots in the movie..."
