Miranda Lambert Update: Singer Doesn't Want People Picking Sides In Blake Shelton Divorce [VIDEO]
Miranda Lambert doesn't want anyone taking sides when it comes to her divorce from Blake Shelton.
Miranda Lambert Still Puzzled About Why Her Marriage To Blake Shelton Ended
Several months after the country couple called it quits, Lambert spoke out, proclaiming that despite what many reports have claimed, she and Shelton are on good terms.
"We are real people with real lives and real s--t," Lambert, 32, told Cosmopolitan Magazine, according to a report by Page Six on Monday. "We’re both very honest. This is what it is now, and we’re moving forward. We don’t need all the opinions. We just need y’all to be supportive, and nobody pick a side — because there ain’t a side."
"We will offer you a sweet tea and hug and love you to death, but we will not put up with your s--t," she added.
As Lambert prepares for her upcoming tour in 2016, she is staying focused on her career, and soon, she will reportedly open up about her divorce through her music.
Lambert “is taking her time [while] working on the album,” a source told Us Weekly, via a Life & Style report on Thursday. "She is putting everything about the marriage and divorce into it.”
Just last month, Shelton's new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, opened up about her divorce (her split from Gavin Rossdale was announced just weeks after Lambert and Shelton's) in "Used To Love You," which she recently performed on The Voice.
