Apollo Nida of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will soon have another famous inmate.

Nida was transferred to a new prison facility after serving his first year in federal prison in Lexington, KY. Now, Nida, whose estranged wife Phaedra Parks still stars in the show, is serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix correctional facility.

That particular place is known for its low-security system.

One insider said this week, “He was transferred about two weeks ago.’

Nida is slated to be released on Aug. 29, 2020. He pleaded guilty to several fraud charges last year and began his sentence last September, after turning himself in late.

Interestingly enough, Joe Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will also be spending his sentence at the same facility as Nida’s. Giudice and his wife, Teresa Giudice, also pleaded guilty to serious fraud charges including bankruptcy, tax evasion and loan. Teresa is currently serving her sentence but will be released early, just in time for Christmas. Joe is said to be starting his sentence in March of next year.

Joe was sentenced to 41 months. There is also a chance he will be deported back to his native country of Italy after serving his sentence.

Nida did offer up a little advice for Joe as a fellow celebrity serving time.

“Stay humble and don’t act better than anyone; just observe your surroundings.”

Nida and Parks are said to be looking at getting a divorce. No word on if they still plan to go through with it.
