Christmas is the season to watch movies with the whole family on Netflix.

Netflix has a huge selection of Christmas movies to choose from, but not all of them are age appropriate. If you have little ones, Netflix provides many family Christmas movies that will certainly entertain those of any age.

From super kid friendly fare like Santa Buddies to more mature kids movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas, there's something for every child.

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas

This 1999 movie tells three different stories. One story features Huey, Dewey and Louie reliving Christmas again and again, the next features Goofy trying to persuade his son that Santa is indeed real and the last is a retelling of "The Gift of the Magi" starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

The Legend of Frosty the Snowman

This isn't the classic Frosty the Snowman special, but it shares the same sentiments. This 2005 movie centers on the mayor of Evergreen proclaiming that there's no such thing as magic, upon which Frosty the Snowman to prove to the local children that magic is indeed real.

Santa Buddies

Santa Buddies is one of many holiday favorites for kids, especially dog lovers. This film from 2009 features the magic Christmas icicle melting, with the puppies having to save Christmas.

Saving Santa

In this 2010 animated film, an elf named Bernard learns of Santa's secret for delivering all the Christmas presents at once: time travel. When Santa is kidnapped, Bernard must use his knowledge to travel back in time to prevent the kidnapping.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

This 1993 classic is perhaps the most enjoyable family Christmas movie. Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, discovers the magical holiday of Christmas and becomes obsessed with putting on a Christmas celebration.
