There is no doubt that Kate Middleton is a hands-on mother, but apparently there are some things she simply won't do when it comes to her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. There's a new report that says the Duchess relies on the kids' nanny Maria to help buy their clothes and run all of their errands for her, as she thinks it's "more discreet" to have her do all the legwork for them.

According to People Magazine on Friday, Kate made waves once again for releasing photos of her 6-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte in a $32 dress from a little-known designer in London. Many are praising the British royal celebrity for thinking local when it comes to her children's fashion statements, although it was actually Nanny Maria who picked out the dress.

"I think it's nice that Kate chose a dress from a really small brand that nobody knows," Amaia Arrieta, owner of the eponymous boutique, told the site, adding that the style was far from surprising. "The kids in Spain are always immaculate and it does have a great reputation for kids' fashion - it's traditional, but the cut is little bit more modern, which I think she likes."

What's more, Spanish-born Nanny Maria is the one who has been persuading Kate to buy clothes from European children's wear designers and so far her choices have been nothing less than a massive worldwide hit.

"I think the nanny understands what Kate likes, and she is happy for her to buy things - it's easier because it's more discreet," added Arrieta, whose sock sales have been booming ever since Prince George became a fan of her cotton knee-highs.
