Is Carole Middleton using her royal connections to promote herself? That might be the case; a new report that suggests the British businesswoman is trying to use her daughter Kate Middleton's status as a family and relationship expert.

Apparently, Carole is giving Brits tips on how to handle Christmas with a new baby at home. Her daughter Kate and Prince William welcomed their second child, Princess Charlotte, earlier this year and will be celebrating Christmas as a family of four for the first time along with their 2-year-old son, Prince William.

According to Hello Magazine, Carole's advice is quite simple, but both fans and critics can't help but wonder what her motivation is behind her latest venture.

Kate Middleton Wants To Revolutionaize The Royal Holidays

"Relax and enjoy baby's first Christmas. They won't remember it, but you'll have fond memories," Carole wrote in her column for Baby London magazine.

Much to Queen Elizabeth's disdain, the Middletons, which also includes Carole's husband, Michael, and their other two children, Pippa and James, will be celebrating the holiday with the royal family, the Daily Beast reports. There have been rumors suggesting that the Queen is none too happy over the fact that the Middletons are trying to make her royal Christmas traditions more "middle class."

What's more, Carole also suggested getting the entire family involved in holiday activities, including even the youngest family members, just so they can participate in all of the preparations and fun before the big day.

"We're all busy planning festive parties and get-togethers, but taking time to choose and make those all-important festive touches is a must," Carole continued in her post.
