Sorry, Steve, the Bucky Barnes you knew in WWII is nothing more than a memory.

'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: Who Will Die In 'Maveth' [POLL]; Multiple Deaths In The Cards

Captain America's (Chris Evans) childhood friend will return once more in Captain America: Civil War, and while Buck (Sebastian Stan) may have recovered at least some of his memories, he will never be the man he was before he fell into Hydra's clutches. Now, Caps and viewers will be treated to a Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes hybrid.

"What have we gotten as a result of Bucky and the Winter Soldier?" Stan asked while speaking with Entertainment Weekly. "Here's the guy when you merge the two. This is what came out. You know, he's not entirely... to me it's never really going to be Bucky Barnes again."

From the sounds of it, he will also never be the Winter Soldier again either. Barnes will be blamed for an attack during the May film, but the super soldier assures his star-spangled buddy that he had nothing to do with it. That life is behind him. Caps better hope Stan's character is telling the truth. Otherwise, the First Avenger is putting a lot on the line for nothing.
