‘Peanuts’ TV Specials News: Why The Former 'Charlie Brown' Voice Actor Is Sentenced To Jail [VIDEO]
Every kid who grew up to the Peanuts TV Specials considers Charlie Brown as one of Schulz's most triumphant characters. However, for Charlie's voice actor, Peter Robbins, it's gone all downhill.
According to NY Daily News, the 59-year old who lent his voice in a series of 1960's animated classics, including "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's the Great Pumpkn, Charlie Brown" was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison for making criminal threats.
He pleaded guilty to sending threatening letters to his manager and sent letters to the media in which he offered to kill San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore.
