It appears that Avery might be able to move on from his dysfunctional relationship with Juliette on Nashville.
Chatter On Avery's Financial Struggles On 'Nashville'
On Wednesday, TV Line announced that Avery might get a new love interest when he meets a single mom and they have a "charming first encounter." This could easily be due to the fact that both of them are single parents and may be able to connect on that level.
This is expected to happen in a midseason episode. The love interest will be played by Meg Steedle who's known for What's Life Got to Do With It?, The Mysteries of Laura and Boardwalk Empire. Steedle's other credits include NCIS: New Orleans, Mom and Grey's Anatomy.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that Nashville may meet its fate at the end of this season since ratings haven't been too hot, according to TV By The Numbers. Unfortunately the show is in the 'likely' to be canceled category along with Castle. Last Man Standing and The Muppets might go as well, but there's more hope for those two.
Shows that are likely to be renewed in 2016 include Quantico, Once Upon a Time, The Middle, How to Get Away With Murder and Grey's Anatomy.
Nashville airs its midseason finale on Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. The series is expected to return again on March 16, so perhaps, ratings will change in a matter of time.
