House of Cards has picked up three nominations -- all in the acting category -- for this year's SAG awards.

New Characters To Threaten Frank In Season 4?

The Netflix political drama has been nominated in the categories of Best Ensemble Cast in a TV Drama Series, and Best Actress (Robin Wright as Claire Underwood) and Actor (Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood).

Spacey actually picked up the award last year. This time around Spacey is up against Rami Malek (Mr. Robot), Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Jon Hamm (Mad Men).

Wright is also in the company of some rather strong contenders -- Viola David (How to Get Away With Murder), Claire Danes (Homeland), Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey), and Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife).

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Spacey dished a little about season 4 of House of Cards. Speaking with The Naples Daily News, Spacey was tight-lipped and cautious when it came to spoilers, in fact at one point even stopping the interviewer from revealing something about the next chapter in his question. "We should not give away the story lines," Spacey said. "We have to accept that we live in a nonspoiler generation. There's people who haven't seen Season 1."

But he did say one thing about season 4, the fact that characters will not go on with impunity for long now.

"I will simply say this," he said. "If there are events that happen on the show, people get what they (expletive) deserve."

Season 4 of House of Cards will premiere in 2016.
