The Grant-Grusecki Light Show: Local Christmas Lights Displays Raises Funds for Vets
For the Grusecki's, decorating their home with 126,000 lights is not all about giving in into the holidays season or putting up the lights because everyone in the neighborhood does it.
This couple from Illinois gained the national attention for an extraordinary display that goes above and beyond the traditional Christmas lights display.
The colorful lights not only brighten up the dark winter sky, but it also raises funds - and the proceeds of the show goes to the "Wounded Warriors Project," which is a charitable institution that provides unique and direct programs to aid service members who are injured in the line of duty and also raises awareness around the needs of wounded soldier.
However, this is not the first time they did this. They initiated project last year and they're set again to raise funds this year.
With their worthy cause, their neighbors are helping them by watching the light show to reach their goal for this year.
