'X-Men: Apocalypse' First Trailer: Xavier Realizes Villain 'Can Control All Of Us' In Epic New Sneak Peek [VIDEO]
The first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse was released today online, teasing the arrival of the almighty Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), the mutant who wishes to take over the world.
20th Century Fox dropped the first X-Men: Apocalypse trailer today (Friday, Dec. 11) and it is an epic one. The trailer features all of your favorite X-Men, from Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) to Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and has the foreboding tension of true apocalypse on the horizon.
Apocalypse awakens after thousands of years with dreams of demolishing mankind as we know it. With his team of mutants, the villainous being shows his powers even over the X-Men. Charles even says in horror that "he can control all of us."
Later in the trailer, Apocalypse states his main goal in his rise to power: "Everything they've built will fall and from the ashes of their world, we'll build a better one."
X-Men: Apocalypse stars the returning cast of McAvoy as Xavier, Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert and Lucas Till as Havok, and the addition of Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops and Lana Condor as Jubilee.
