Lily (Christel Khalil) had agreed to work with Cane (Daniel Goddard) to bring Joe (Scott Elrod) down, but where things left off, it seemed like Lily might end up being hurt, since she wound up left alone with Joe in the Abbott cabin.
Luckily for her, that won't actually be the case! In the episode airing today, Dec. 11, Cane will come to her rescue with Devon (Bryton James) and Paul (Doug Davidson) not too far behind.

In the sneak peek video clip below, Cane and Devon realize Lily is most likely at the cabin with Joe and agree to go get her out of there.
"The Abbott cabin is nearby," Cane reveals to Devon from inside a car, adding, "It would be the perfect place; they could be alone and she could get Joe to talk."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Devon asks before moving to get out of the car.
According to Soaps, while Cane will jump to protect Lily from Joe, it seems like there is no chance for their relationship to mend—Lily did sleep with Joe twice and believed him until Cane proved otherwise.
Lily will wind up crying hysterically at her seemingly ruined marriage.
Lily's love life aside, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Dylan (Steve Burton) will tie the knot! Prior to winding up at the Abbott cabin to arrest Joe, Paul will officiate the vows between the two.
In the sneak peek clip, Dylan asks Sharon, "Will you marry me right now?" as Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) look on.
Lastly, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will admit to Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that she and Nick are essentially taking a break since she can't work things out with him so she'll be living next door.
"What's going on?" Chelsea asks in the clip above, which prompts Sage to share, "I did something crazy!"
Soaps reported Sage would hold up a key to signify her new residence.
The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
