‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 2 News: Why Won’t Loretta Let Danny Talk To Pride ‘Until He Sees A Lawyer’? [VIDEO]
NCIS: New Orleans returns to CBS this Tuesday, Dec. 15, with a brand new episode that will have Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder) acting like a protective mother to her adopted son Danny (Christopher Meyer).
Could Bishop Go Undercover With Brody In 'NCIS' & 'NCIS: New Orleans' Crossover?
The episode is called "Blue Christmas" and according to the press release a string of Christmas burglaries will turn deadly with all evidence leading to Danny.
Plus, there will be the typical teasing of newest NCIS team member Sonja Percy (Shalita Grant) by Meredith Brody (Zoe McLellan) and Christopher LaSalle (Lucas Black) since she will draw Pride (Scott Bakula) in their Secret Santa exchange.
Until the episode airs Tuesday night, the NCIS: New Orleans YouTube channel released a preview video, which shows scenes of the Christmas burglars up to no good while donning creepy elf and Santa masks.
Then there's a scene of Danny being hauled out of a vehicle with his hands cuffed as Pride questioningly states, "You got stolen goods connected to a murder?"
Danny will wind up in Orleans Parish Prison, which will have Loretta feeling all sorts of ways. Through the prison glass windows, the pair will speak on the phone as Danny cops a serious attitude, snapping, "You think you know me."
Loretta will have a meltdown shortly after as she shouts at Pride, "That's my son in there!"
Pride will insist he's only trying to help Danny, but Loretta won't let Danny speak to Pride without a lawyer present.
"Danny's not saying another word until he sees a lawyer," Loretta declares.
Is Danny innocent in all of this? Make sure to watch Tuesday to find out.
NCIS: New Orleans airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
