Steve-O News: The Aftermath Of The Famous Stunt Performer's Sea World Stunt [VIDEO]
Well, that was fast!
The former Jackass star was released from jail after less than nine hours in Jain after being sentenced to 30 days behind bars for making a reckless stunt at Sea World. Entertainment Tonight, reported that he scaled a 10-story construction crane in Hollywood, set off fireworks, and inflated a plastic killer whale with the words "SeaWorld Sucks," in protest of the embattled aquatic theme park this past August.
According to the Los Angeles Times, just before turning himself in to deputies, Steve-O — in typical “Jackass”-style fashion — posted a video on his social media account, showing himself performing a back flip in front of the main sign of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility with the caption, “Here I am at jail. See ya when I see ya, folks! #yeahdude #SeaWorldSucks.”
The 41-year-old shared a photo with his adorable dog on Instagram celebrating his fast freedom with a caption that says, "After taking a hilarious mug shot, I wound up spending less than eight hours in jail. Thanks to all of the good people at Twin Towers Correctional Facility for making my stay a great one. #yeahdude #SeaWorldSucks."
Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Glover, surrendered himself about 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department booking records. Nearly nine hours later, at 2:26 a.m. Thursday, Glover was released, Los Angeles Times wrote.
