On Friday, the talk show co-host added some photos on Instagram that show how she celebrated her 30th birthday. She received a pretty exquisite cake that was pure gold and probably took a while to cut since it was so tall.

Symone was also lucky enough to receive a personalized birthday message from music icon Janet Jackson. In another post, Symone wrote how thankful she was to receive this and sent a message back.
"You are an empress and I look up to you and your work ethic, style, life, in hopes that I can just reach one of your multi-levels!" Symone wrote for Jackson.

Meanwhile, Symone has made some controversy here and there on The View with opinions that caused backlash. One of these includes saying how she wouldn't hire someone named 'Watermelondrea' after the ladies talked about how people with different names don't always get jobs.
