While some reports are saying that Lamar Odom is making steps in his recovery while he still remains in the hospital, others are saying that he'll simply never be the same again. A new report indicates that the former NBA star is having memory problems and that he even has a hard time remembering people and names--including the Kardashian family.

According to Xpose on Monday, Lamar's road to recovery is apparently a slow one as he's still struggling to walk and talk falling his three-day drug binge at a Nevada brothel nearly two months ago. And the worst part is that he simply can't remember anything.

A source said, "He's not doing great. His speech is still slurred and he can barely walk on his own yet. He forgets a lot of people's names--sometimes even his own. He definitely has some memory loss.''

Others thought says that Odom is actually doing better and that his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian is visiting him in the hospital everyday. The ex-couple put a hold on their divorce proceedings so the reality star can make medical decisions for him.

Another insider added, "He actually gets a little better every day. He talks a bit more each day and walks with a walker, but still has trouble processing his thoughts. It's very slow but little by little.''
