Considering all of the highs and lows that Katie Holmes has gone through in the past several years, it should come to no one's surprise that she's being very cautious about her current relationship. In fact, there's a new report that says the Hollywood actress is ready to step out publicly with her long-time boyfriend Jamie Foxx but is scared of all the attention it might bring, too.

According to Naughty Gossip on Monday, Holmes and Foxx have supposedly been dating since 2013, but the couple has managed to keep their relationship off the radar, mostly because they don't know how to public would react to them, and especially Holmes' ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

"She and Jamie has been avoiding attending parties she's been going to because of all the rumors, but she is obsessed with him," close sources have dished. "They might not be seen out together at the same events very often, but they are constantly meeting up in private. They are totally hooking up and have been for a while. Katie wants to go public with the relationship, but he wants to keep it a secret."

And while they've definitely been cautious up until now, other sources say that they will finally make their grand debut as a couple in 2016.

An insider said, "Suri gets along with him super well. In the new year they will finally admit that they are together. They do not need to hide this anymore. Plus, its the best known secret in the business."

So far a rep for Holmes has not made any comments about the report.
