The NCIS YouTube channel released three sneak peeks into this episode before the episode debuts tonight.
In the first sneak peek that is below, Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) notices Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) is "lurking" on Bishop.
"I'm gathering data," DiNozzo reveals as he and McGee continue to stare at Bishop from afar.
"She just got back from Oklahoma visiting the fam.," DiNozzo adds, before commenting on Jake.
He and McGee will not agree on where she stands with Jake, but Bishop interrupts them by declaring, "You know I can hear every word you're saying," while smiling at them.
"That's impossible, I'm whispering," DiNozzo states, but Bishop will explain how she could hear every single thing they said, thanks to the skylight.
"The angle causes an acoustic reflection from the stairs to my desk," Bishop reveals.
Gibbs will show up and announce there's a dead Marine in an alley, which they need to go to now that will end the chat of the acoustics in NCIS headquarters.
In the second sneak peek video that's below, Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) tells the team about the dead Marine's wounds, including "abrasions on the knuckles" since Ducky is not at the crime scene, which will raise questions from Gibbs about his whereabouts.
"That's an interesting question," Jimmy comments, which seems to annoy Gibbs a bit since he isn't given an actual answer.
"What's the answer?" Gibbs asks, which Jimmy tries to evade, but then admits, "Look, the truth is, I don't know where Dr. Mallard is. I'm sorry."
Bishop comments she saw him that morning as did Jimmy. But Jimmy explains that he asked Ducky where he was going, yet "got the funny feeling he wasn't being honest" when he told him about picking up dry cleaning.
Gibbs then suggests Jimmy should call Ducky, which will cause the entire team to hear a ring tone going off in the alley. They will find Ducky tied up in the back of a van that was in the alley.
Here's an image of Gibbs and Bishop revealing Ducky's in the van in the alley.
Then in the final sneak peek that is below, Ducky explains how he wound up in the back of a van tied up.
"I received a call from a man claiming to be a lawyer," Ducky tells Gibbs and McGee, adding, "He said he had information about a member of my family. I suggested that we meet at the coffee shop around the front there."
"What kind of information?" Gibbs asks, which leads to Ducky sharing the guy "didn't have any" so he left and the guy followed him.
It turns out the dead Marine, though, is a face Ducky recognized from inside the coffee shop.
"Who's the relative?" Gibbs then asks Ducky, which makes Ducky quite uncomfortable.
"He was asking about Nicholas Mallard. My brother," Ducky shares, before giving some details about how he has a brother.
A flashback is then shown of a young Ducky (Adam Campbell) with this sibling.
NCIS airs on Tuesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
