With the exception of Prince Harry, it looks like the British royal family is having a hard time winning over their critics these days, no matter what they do or say. A new scathing report calls the Duke of Cambridge "arrogant, spoiled and very difficult" while also saying that he has a tendency for public temper tantrums.

According to Britain's Express, Princess Diana's former bodyguard Ken Wharfe is calling out the British monarchy in a new interview. And while he has harsh words for just about everyone, he specifically aims at Prince William, revealing a side of him that the public hasn't seen before.

Wharfe starts out by saying, "When I was a protection officer for Diana I was a monarchist because I thought the royals were good for the country. But I've come to the conclusion that they're not a very nice group of people."

He then goes on to talk about Prince William and even compares him to his younger, more media savvy brother, Prince Harry.

Wharfe further explained, "He was always a sly little boy, and now he's become arrogant and spoilt. I hear from people who work for William that he can be very difficult. I liked Harry better and I feel sorry for him because he was never really able to engage in his military career. But I think he's the answer to the family's longevity, and I bet if there was a vote on who should accede to the throne; the people would go for Harry."

He concludes ominously: "I'm not sure the next generation will even care about the royal family at all. They may simply become irrelevant."
