We haven’t heard much about whether Brandi Maxiell really got fired from Basketball Wives LA after her spat with the show’s creator and her co-star Shaunie O’Neal. But now, O’Neal is giving all the juicy details on whether Maxiell will return, as well as other drama that’s going on now that the cameras have stopped rolling.

O’Neal revealed to VH1 this week that Maxiell has reached out to her dozens of times “to get reassurance that she would come back to the show. She said, ‘I am not fired, am I? You didn’t really fire me, did you?’”

She added that Maxiell said she didn’t mean to call O’Neal the B word and only “was trying to make good TV.”

O’Neal said that she did not actually fire Maxiell, but wanted to send her a message that it looks like Maxiell got loud and clear. As far as whether Maxiell’s BFF on the show, Malaysia Pargo, stood up and defended Maxiell, O’Neal shut down Pargo’s claims that she did.

O’Neal revealed Pargo never left the table after O’Neal told Maxiell her “services are no longer needed.”

But she did say that Maxiell went off camera to gather her thoughts before she came back and apologized to O’Neal right then and there.

“It happened immediately and she’s sitting in my lap doing all of this. I can’t remember if cameras were still rolling or not, but the whole crew and all of the other cast members witnessed this whole moment.”

It looks like Maxiell will indeed be returning to the show.
