A second insider told the magazine that David, who spent a reported $5 million on his wife's treatments, was unsure of why Yolanda chose to continue with Bravo if she was as ill as she claimed.
“He didn’t understand why Yolanda wouldn’t leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills if she’s in so much pain and so tired,” the source alleged. “He’s famous and private and rich, so it was frustrating Yolanda wanted to do this show so badly.”
Yolanda and David announced their split on Dec. 1, the same day the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiered on Bravo.
“We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together,” the couple told Us Weekly in a statement. “During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.”
