It was back in 2008 when Rita Ora signed with Jay Z's record label, Roc Nation. Fast forward to 2015, the singer and "X-Factor" judge filed a formal complaint against the label claiming her "relationship with Roc Nation is irrevocably damaged" and is declared "in violation of California law and unenforceable under the state's "seven year rule."

According to People, Rita Ora claims she was left unsupported, saying: "Roc Nation has made it clear that if Rita wants a recording career, she's on her own. Working around Roc Nation's lack of focus and support, Rita has pushed forward with her recording career, self-funding her promotional television appearances, recording costs and video projects."

The singer, who was previously linked with drummer Travis Barker, goes on to say that she only got to record one album in the last seven years.
