Taylor Swift, Harry Styles Sex Tape Hoax & Other Rumors About Them
Taylor Swift and Harry Styles are the subjects of a sex tape scam circulating on Facebook.
The hoax tricks social media users into clicking on a link by promising to show a video featuring the ex-couple getting intimate, according to Opposing Views. The scam reads as follows:
"The famous singer Taylor Swift had her iPhone hacked Monday and a sex tape between her and former boyfriend Harry Styles has been leaked on the Internet. Taylor's publicists are trying to take down all of the websites hosting it, but we found a working one! Watch the video before it's taken down!"
Once a user clicks on the link, pop-up survey questions appear asking for personal infromation.
Rumors continue to circulate regarding the once-lovers. Fans thought the two pop singers rekindled their relationship when photos spread on the Internet of what looked like Styles and Swift posing together. In the noted images, a man who resembles Styles stood next to a Swift look-a-like. However, the photos were merely a Styles-Swift reunion created by two look-a-likes of the celebrity couple. The boy, 15-year-old Jacob Skelton, said he reguarily gets stopped in the streets for photographs by people thinking he is the One Direction singer.
When Swift flew to London for a few days in January, reports speculated about a potential reconciliation with the United Kingdom native. However, the Safe & Sound singer reportedly flew to London for two scheduled performances and also some photo shoots. Later than month she peformed at the NRJ Music Awards in France as Styles looked on from the audience.
When the couple was still dating, rumors surfaced of a different nature. Gossip sites and alleged "sources" talked of Swift being pregnant with Styles' child, and that the couple were taking about getting married.
One of the first to start the Swift-Styles baby rumors was Weekly World News, which released a story on Dec. 16 including "sources" confirming the rumors to be accurate. Though Swift's team denied the pregnancy rumors to be true, the news report quoted a resident at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles confirming that the country singer is pregnant, saying, "Definitely, preggers."
Additionally, a One Direction hair stylist claimed Styles is the father.
