Did Jared Fogle Spend Little Time With His Children?
In a previous report from FOX 59, Fogle gave a speech in court saying that his actions were "horrible."
"I have become independent on alcohol, pornography and prostitutes," he said. "Not a day will go by where I won't think of (the victims). I hope the restitution will help in their lives. It is my intent to learn from these experiences so that I never, ever do these things again. I take full responsibility for what I've done."
Upon his release from jail, Fogle will have to register as a sex offender and be set up with electronic devices.
Russell Taylor, former head of Fogle's Jared Foundation, who was allegedly part of the scandal, has been sentenced to 27 years in prison.
Fogle became a celebrity when he appeared in the Subway commercials following a drastic weight loss.
