This might be one of the happiest times of the year, but has it turned out to be quite miserable for Tori Spelling? That's what a new report says as apparently the reality television star and her husband Dean McDermott are so broke that they can't afford to buy any presents for their children for Christmas this year.

According to Star Pulse on Friday, things are so bad that Spelling and McDermott have been fighting non-stop about their financial probable and that the actress is completely miserable over the fact that they won't have a decent holiday this year.

A source close to Spelling and McDermott dished, "Christmas has always been a very big deal for Tori and she has always gone over the top. But the reality has set in that with their financial situation the way it is, they just can't buy all of the gifts for the kids that Tori would like. It's depressing for Tori to not be able to go out and just buy the kids the stuff they want."

And while Spelling would love to spoil their four children, Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn, with endless gifts, McDermott is having none of it.

The insider added that McDermott is "stressed about the upcoming holidays because he thinks the kids don't need so much stuff and has a less is more approach."

Spelling meanwhile, allegedly has a spending issue and hates being on financial life support.

The tipster explained, "She feels trapped in the relationship, and Tori is ready to pull the plug on the marriage. Neither one of them has any income coming in at the moment, so Tori is no longer frightened that Dean could seek and get financial support."

So far, neither Spelling nor McDermott have made any comments about the report.
