'Law and Order SVU' Season 17 Spoilers: Preview For Midseason Premiere Reveals A Teacher Playing Sexual Predator [VIDEO]
The preview for the much awaited return of season 17 of Law & Order: SVU is finally out now.

In the clip Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and crew is seens struggling with a case of a teacher who plays sexual predator. The teacher is seen having sex with her school students, and Benson tries to assess when her offense can be classified as being rape. As the case progresses, the plot thickens as the team finds out that there are infact two predators in the school.
The episode is aptly titled, 'Catfishing Teacher,' and here's the one line synopsis:
"A high school student and his female teacher have an affair however he disappears."
In the fall finale episode, titled "Depravity Standard," Lewis Hoda (Tom Sizemore) returned and plead not guilty stating that he has been framed. In the clip Benson looks totally frazzled by the proceedings as Hoda claims his innocence and she is put back in the hot seat to solve this case.
The episode also marked the return of BD Wong as Dr. Huang.
The fall finale episode aired on Nov. 18.
'Catfishing Teacher' will air on January 6.
