‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers 2015: Why Is Phyllis Bothering With Billy When He'd Clearly Rather Be Miserable? [VIDEO]
The holiday cheer on The Young and the Restless is in short supply for many of the Genoa City residents!
For instance, Billy (Burgess Jenkins) seems to think he is better off dealing with his own misery with lots of alcohol, but Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) has other plans in mind.
During the episode airing today, Dec. 21, Phyllis will do everything in her power to bring Billy and Jack (Peter Bergman) together so they can be on good terms.

"Why are you here?" Billy asks Phyllis in the sneak peek clip below as he wakes up from one of his bottomless drinking episodes.
"Redemption," Phyllis quips.
Jack apparently won't be for Phyllis' persistence, though, as Soaps reported he would be quite ticked off when he shows up at his family's cabin to just see her and Billy instead of everyone for the Christmas festivities.
This feuding aside, Jack will also be unhappy with Ashley's (Eileen Davidson) decision to work with Dr. Simon Neville (Michael E. Knight).
"You're in business with this guy?" Jack questions Ashley in the clip above, adding, "The man who was hiding Hilary [Mishael Morgan]," with much distaste in his tone.
Dr. Neville is actually present for this chat and he clarifies he wasn't hiding Hilary.
"Not hiding. Saving," the kooky doctor states.
Speaking of Dr. Neville, Gwen (Nadine Nicole) plans on convincing Neil (Kristoff St. John) that they should work together on the doctor's research project.
"I'm one of the few people who really knows what happened at the boathouse," she tells Neil in the clip above, before bringing up the fact that he owes her big time.
The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
