Fans are showing no mercy after TV mogul Steve Harvey had a huge mess up when announcing the Miss Universe winner on live television last night.

Harvey accidentally announced the crowned champion as Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez-Arevalo, when she was really the runner-up. While she was waving at the crowd, Harvey had to admit his mistake and announce Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach as the real winner.

To make matters worse, his apology on the matter didn’t go over too well either. He ended up apologizing to “Miss Philippians” instead of Miss Philippines on Twitter.

But he ended up correcting the mistake and apologizing to both contestants, as well as snapping a photo of everything being smoothed over well.


Of course that didn’t stop fans for coming from him big time.
One said it is the long running comedian’s best punch line ever.

A few others suggested how Miss Colombia was probably feeling in the moment.

Still, others said that Harvey did the pageant a favor.


One went as far as comparing it to Kanye West’s huge VMA moments when he told Taylor Swift that Beyonce deserved the Video Of The Year award for that year.

Others used a couple of our favorite memes to poke fun at the incident as well.

Of course it was only a matter of time before paternity test guru Maury Povich was channeled in the mix as well.

One even compared it to the whole iPHone 5 and iPhone 5S products.
