Just a few months after his split from his longtime girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown has confessed that he has changed his views on getting hitched.

At one point, Chris said that he was completely against tying the knot as he did not want it to end in divorce. But now he has admitted the real reason why he claimed he would never marry.

“At first I was afraid of it,” he told Big Boy TV Friday. “Because you know young guys, young bachelors, we pose to be players, you know that’s kind of like our thing. So it’s like ‘marriage? They gon lock us down! They gon get all this money! For me, I would always run away from it when I was a younger guy.”

He said the daughter he found out about earlier this year, one-year-old Royalty, has helped him change his thoughts.

“But now it’s not too far off in my head because it’s like wow, I got a daughter. I want to start an actual family.”

Interestingly enough, Tran broke up with Chris when she found out that he fathered Royalty with a woman named Nia Guzman during their relationship.

He did confirm that he’s “not dating” right now but has had a few hookups here and there.

He said that right now “it might not be my time to be happy in that department.

He also spoke on what kind of father he hopes to be for Royalty.
