Adele said in Time’s special The Year Ahead issue, “Whoever started that rumor must have been having a laugh. Because anyone who knows me knows that my main priority in life outside my child is Beyonce.”
Reports that Beyonce and Adele were having issues swirled as Adele made her comeback to the music scene this year.

One insider even claimed, “Bey has been asking Adele for a year to join forces,” but Adele kept shutting it down. While Adele said there are no issues, they added that Beyonce hoped to be featured on Adele’s latest studio album 25 that was released last month.
But Adele isn’t the only one shutting down speculation about a Beyonce beef.
Her father Mathew Knowles has addressed the latest round of rumors that Beyonce is suing him for the rights of mega girl group, Destiny’s Child.
He told Entertainment Tonight Saturday, “These dangerous rumors defame my family name. They have no validity and hold no merit.”
He added that he’s over his family being the center of headlines and celebrity gossip.
“There are many other important topics needing America’s attention. No one needs more unnecessary negativity. Media like this needs to get on higher ground. I, for one, am focusing on lectures and seminars that help people achieve something positive and achieve better lives.”
Knowles’ statement comes just days after rumors swirled that he and Beyonce were on the outs again.
